I sense a mass layoff coming.

We have no work. People have nothing to do but sit on the Internet and play games.

No one comes in on time and everyone leaves early.

2 hour lunches seem to be the norm.

This is not just a few people here and there. This is everyone — even management, even those people who like to work late because they have no where else to go.

Everyone has succumbed to slackville because there is just nothing left to do.

The very idea that no one is saying anything is foretelling enough. No one cares.

Starting in September, I’m supposed to drop to 30 hours and have Tuesdays and Thursdays off for school. No one is making a big deal about this. It makes me wonder if the lack of reaction is due to the possibility that my department may not even exist in September.

The oddest part of it for me is that I don’t even care what happens. I mean, I care, but I can’t change what happens. I think, secretly, I would welcome the change.

Things are in motion all around me and I can’t do much more than let everything run it’s course.

The following time I learn a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as a lot as this one. I imply, I know it was my choice to learn, however I truly thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you possibly can repair for those who werent too busy in search of attention.

    And the story further unfolds…

DAMMIT I wish it were easy enough for me to hightail it back to Texas so that we can get a scene going and get enough money to go on tour. How fucking cool would it be to drive around seeing stuff while playing and writing and creating…

    FUCK

Life has given us so many indications that there is change on the wind, but it won’t seem to clue us in on that last little (crucial) element, How to Make It Work.

I am watching the horizon for signs, babe.

And burning candles for your well being.

Thats pretty much exactly what happened when my job fizzled out. Only they started lagging on paychecks. After a few weeks with no checks I just quit. It was going on for way too long.

I hope you find something new!!

You know, I’m the first person to take advantage of some slacktime, but this is just ridiculous.

And, paired up with the whole “what are you doing with your time to make your life better” question, I’m spending most of my life warming a seat for some corporate pinhead who couldn’t care less if I just signed a new lease.

I just think I should be doing something more.

    Bigger.

    Wonderful and grandiose.

I’m not getting any younger and this isn’t getting any easier to keep doing.

    (bitch bitch moan moan)

    Sorry, ya’ll – I’m just pissy.
